Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee – New cycling initiatives are evaluated by the MCAC according to three main criteria: connectivity, safety and usage. The goals of the MCAC are to foster a culture where cycling is an everyday activity in Mississauga, build an integrated on-road and off-road cycling network as part of a multi-modal transportation system, and adopt a ‘Safety-first’ approach for cycling in Mississauga. MiWay rolled out several route and service improvements on July 3 as part of the MiWay 5 Service Plan (2016-2020). The improvements include an extended route across the city to the Mississauga Airport Corporate Centre.
Route 39 – Britannia will extend east to provide a direct connection from Meadowvale Town Centre to the Skymark Hub in the Mississauga Airport Corporate Centre, near the future Renforth transitway station. For a complete list of service improvements, click here.

GO TRANSIT is a regional public transit system in Southern Ontario serving the Golden Horseshoe region and provides extended commuter access with all day service still in the works. There are two GO Stations in Ward 9: Lisgar Station and Meadowvale Station and Streetsville Station is just to the east. Meadowvale is part of the Milton GO Transit railway line.
