Ward 9 Community Newsletter

Hello everyone, welcome to summer!

I hope you are enjoying the warmer weather and are getting to spend quality time with friends and family this summer. We are now at the midpoint of the year, time is definitely moving quickly so do make sure to slow down and enjoy the present moment.

Congratulations to all of our recent school graduates. It was an honour to visit with many of you during your commencement ceremonies. I hope you all have a wonderful summer and I wish you the best on your next adventure.

School’s out for summer, so let’s prioritize road safety. Roads, sidewalks and trails will all be busier, so everyone needs to help keep one another safe. Drivers, please do not exceed the posted speed limit. Keep an eye out for students especially near parks and driveways.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Ward 9 events in June – especially to our Senior’s Fair, which I know is a highly anticipated event. I see you and appreciate you. Congratulations to our prize winners. Names were drawn at 12 PM at the fair. If you left before that time and won a prize, you will be contacted by phone.

As always, I encourage you to stay connected via the e-newsletter and social media platforms, where news and updates are posted:
